Aevitas Consultancy · FAQ
Asked often. Answered straight.
If your question is not here, ask it on a clarity call — the unusual ones are usually the important ones.
What exactly is a clarity call?
A one-time, free conversation between you and us. No sales script: you describe your company and your thinking, we ask questions and answer yours, and you leave with a clearer view of your next step — whatever you decide it is. "Free" means free: no invoice, no obligation, no follow-up you did not ask for.
What does the consultancy cost?
It depends on scope, so we do not publish numbers on this site. The clarity call is free. If we work together, you receive a written scope and fee proposal before any work begins — you will always know where you stand before you commit.
Is my company ready for an IPO?
Honestly? Most companies need preparation before they are — and that is normal. Readiness is built, not found: governance, financial discipline, processes and documentation all take time to bring up to standard. The clarity call and the readiness map exist precisely to replace guesswork with a plain picture.
How long does an IPO take?
Longer than most promoters expect. The transaction itself is only the final stretch — the readiness work starts well before any banker is appointed. The honest answer for your company depends on where it stands today, which is exactly what the readiness map tells you.
Do you replace my CA, CS or merchant banker?
No — and you should be wary of anyone who says they can. Some roles on the road to listing may only be performed by licensed, regulated intermediaries. We work alongside your professionals: coordinating, sequencing and keeping the whole picture coherent.
Do you guarantee a successful listing or a fundraising round?
No. No honest adviser can guarantee market outcomes, and anyone who does should be avoided. What we commit to is the quality of preparation, the honesty of our findings, and the discipline of the process.
What do you actually do, day to day?
Advisory, coordination and preparation: mapping readiness against requirements, turning findings into sequenced roadmaps, helping you choose and brief the right professionals, keeping documents and processes in order, and being the one phone call that makes sense of the whole journey.
We are not sure about an IPO — we just want to grow. Is that a fit?
Yes. SME Growth & Scale-Up Advisory and Investor Fundraising exist for exactly this. Many companies strengthen first, raise second, and only then think about listing. A clarity call will help you see which service — or which order — suits you.
Everything we discuss stays confidential?
Yes. Conversations, documents and company information are handled with discretion, and confidentiality can be put in writing before deeper work begins — just ask for it on the clarity call.
